Modern forest products from Germany and other countries play important roles in nearly all aspects of our lives: for building and modernising, furnishing and living, packaging and transporting. KRONOPLY is acutely aware of its responsibility in connection with this important natural product, and is firmly committed to meeting the market’s expectations regarding sustainability and environmental friendliness throughout the value chain, from purchasing the raw materials through to the finished products.

Right when we purchase the wood, our partners benefit from the vast industry-specific expertise we have accumulated over the course of many years, our reliability, and our sense of responsibility to the environment. We have more than two decades of experience providing forestry services, and continuously process huge volumes: 3.4 million running metres of industrial wood a year, including 1.2 million running metres for making KRONOPLY OSB, KRONOPLY MDF and KRONOTHERM wood-fibre insulation. For producing OSB boards, we use only fresh, healthy three-metre industrial coniferous logs (mainly pine) free of blue stain. Our MDF plant mainly processes industrial coniferous wood in combination with industrial deciduous wood (mainly three-metre logs, following consultation also two- to six-metre logs as well as chips, with and without bark). We are also happy to help you purchase high-quality oak wood.
