Welcome to the kronotex gallery!
At this year’s DOMOTEX trade fair, the flooring specialist Kronotex will present its newest design highlights in a dignified metropolitan ambiance
The DOMOTEX showroom of Kronotex GmbH & Co. KG is the place for you if you want to be able to appreciate modern flooring aesthetics away from the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. Under the motto “New decors and impressions from Berlin”, the company will this year again be presenting current decors and designs in the relaxed atmosphere of the Radisson SAS trade fair hotel. “Our customers love the exclusiveness of our DOMOTEX presentations and know that a special atmosphere awaits them,” is how Martin Prager, Managing Director/Sales at Kronotex, explains his trade fair concept. “This year we aim to bring some Berlin ambiance to Hanover. Kronotex is often associated with Berlin and we are looking forward to stimulating conversations with our customers in the traditional flair.”
Rooms full of new ideas
This approach, involving the presentation of modern flooring design in a completely different manner and embedded in an aesthetically successful gallery concept, is as innovative as it is appealing. Divided into three large exhibition sectors, several completely new design offers with large-format Berlin views and vistas are combined with the proven standard collections, among which, this year, you will be able to find over twenty new decors. The CERRAtex range, which is new to the market, is presented here in a particularly impressively manner. In five striking colour combinations, the innovative surface coating surpasses the impact and wear resistance of a ceramic tile, is as elastic as a laminate covering and yet is noticeably warmer on the feet. The three-layer, stable and scratchproof panels allow for diverse design variants in both small and large areas
Experience surface tactile qualities
The new PSSST! collection satisfies quite different demands. Designed as an almost noise-free flooring, the five amazingly soft decors are nearly more suited for sitting on than walking on! It thus remains to be seen whether the assembled gallery seating furniture will actually be used in this area of the kronotex gallery. Whoever walks over and feels the elasticity and warmth of the deep wood grains will recognise that well-being can not only be experienced through one’s stomach but also through the feet and ears. PSSST! – a new dimension of concentrated tranquillity for every office.
Designing new living environments
However, not everyone loves soft tones. In the DIGItex collection, which is to be understood in Hanover more as a suggestion than as a finished product, things will for this reason be significantly flashier. Completely in the character of individual design freedom, the DIGItex exhibits, which are produced in digital printing, painted multiple times as well as hardened via electron beams, make one thing perfectly clear: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Regardless of whether it concerns a favourite flower, cow skin or funny picture motif - with DIGItex any room can be unique. The times of printed T-shirt slogans are over. Personalised flooring is the way to go! From a technical perspective, the possibilities are almost limitless when it comes to the creativity of real DIGItex fans. Regardless of what you want to have under your feet in the future: Your personal motif is our command. The only thing you have to do is lay your personal room eye-catcher. Click! Only T-shirts can be changed more quickly.
Always up to date
Those who not only want their clothes but also the design of their own “four walls” to be always up to date should also take a close look at the living collection of the design flooring range. From the ancient world map, to Berlin city maps as well as graffiti-sprayed containers or genuine Feng Shui pebbles, there is hardly a design trend which is not taken into account in this range. For Uwe Petzold, Head of Marketing at Kronotex, the aspect of continuous change is of particular importance in this connection. “Each season brings with it new ideas, approaches and trends, which we also want to implement in modern flooring aesthetics. In this connection, every suggestion is of course not going to be suitable for mass consumption, but the same sentiment as applies for fashion also applies for us, namely: prêt-à-porter represents what can be achieved while haut couture represents what could be achieved, this of course greatly delights many of our customers.”
Brilliant perspectives
This also applies for the BLISS ART range, which was presented last year as a pure design study. An innovative flooring design has rarely been achieved in a more elegant and resilient manner. Inset fine, matt or high-gloss aluminium strips, which give each room a special noblesse and extravagance, extend along the panels, which are only 113 mm wide.
With such and numerous other designs, a tour of the rooms "Africa I and II" in the kronotex gallery, opened from January 16th to 19th, should prove to be an aesthetic highpoint for many visitors. We are looking forward to seeing you in the Radisson SAS Hotel, which is located just opposite the east entrance of the trade fair grounds.
