TEST BILD magazine, published by the European Axel Springer Group, collaborates with the German Statista online portal to publish reviews and issue awards, also for the most popular product brands for home furnishing, renovation, improvement and beautification. This year KRONOTEX has done quite well in the laminate flooring category.
The 2020 edition of the magazine “Top Marke Haus & Wohnen” presents the best five brands in more than 80 different product categories. In the laminate flooring category, the winners were chosen on the basis of these criteria:
- Quality: reflected in our up to 30-year warranties
- Long life: KRONOTEX laminate floors excel with outstanding strength and resistance to heavy footfall and use, featuring top utilisation and abrasion resistance ratings
- Functionality: easy installation thanks to the snap-together “Clic” system
- Design: more than 200 different decors to suit every taste
- Sustainability: produced mainly from wood, a natural raw material
- Value for money: high-quality products sold at appropriate prices
In November 2019, TEST BILD and Statista surveyed around 6,000 consumers throughout Germany, then evaluated the 47,000 assessments they submitted and published the results in the third edition of TEST BILD’s popular guide. The goal is to help consumers navigate the dense jungle of competing brands and products. As products proliferate, it is becoming increasingly challenging for people to figure out which are right for their home improvement projects. The TEST BILD awards therefore “provide invaluable assistance, in the form of objective assessments and trustworthy recommendations, for consumers to get their bearings and make the right decisions”, as the accompanying letter explains. Unlike laboratory test reports, customer surveys address real-world, practical considerations.
